Established in 1992, we aim to create a positive, welcoming environment which is encouraging for all.
Located within the City of Alma, DuHadway Dance Dimensions is the most comprehensive dance & tumbling facility within the Mid Michigan area. We have 5 studios with 3 different programs that include 10 different styles. We offer classes for ages 3-18.
To ensure classes are suitable for those who attend, we offer a range of options across styles, age groups and abilities. Whether you aspire to a professional career, want a movement outlet for your energetic preschooler, have a goal of making your high school cheer squad or want to build strength and flexibility for multiple athletic pursuits, we have a class for you.

DuHadway Dance Dimensions has 4 large dance studio rooms! The dance rooms are named Room A (blue), Room B (pink), Room C (yellow) and Room D (purple). All rooms have a “marley” dance surface laid over a wood subfloor to reduce injury and fatigue…the ideal situation for multiple genres of movement and dance.
Each studio has a full wall of mirrors and ballet barres mounted securely to the walls. It becomes evident to all who attend classes and work with us that the teaching environment is enhanced by our professional surroundings.
Our tumbling program includes a large, dedicated space with 2″ of carpet bonded foam as well as numerous mats and apparatus to give our tumbling students an outstanding experience in a safe environment with our highly qualified instructors.
At DuHadway, we strive to educate our students mentally as well as physically with the goal of building self-esteem and confidence. We feel this instructional perspective is a vital component of nurturing your student’s love of dance, as well as preparing them for challenges and opportunities they may face outside of the studio.

Our goal is to provide a fun yet educational experience where students will learn the disciplined art of dance and movement in a structured classroom setting.
We’ve found that our curriculum-driven approach not only provides a fun experience for your student while they are here, but it lays the groundwork for having even more fun as they advance to higher skill levels without struggling to learn the concepts. Our goal has always been “Fun with a Purpose.”
Placement in our studio ensures a professional approach to teaching combined with genuine love and appreciation of our art form. Initially, students are placed in classes based on age. The variety we offer, combined with our trained teachers, allows for students to be placed in the best classes for their current ability level where they can move forward with tremendous success. This ensures that the love of movement is nurtured without the frustration and feelings of being left behind the rest of the class, which can happen if forced into a setting that is beyond their current ability.
All instructors are specifically trained using the same lessons, well-developed exercises, and year-end outcomes. Students continue seamlessly from season to season regardless of who is teaching.
Our staff is trained in the curriculum developed by our studio owner, Miss Jillian. We also use multiple instructional techniques so that each student can master the skills that are expected at each level
Children who participate in our programs build self-confidence while learning discipline and other life skills. The time management, teamwork and setting and achieving goals will stay with them throughout their lives.
DuHadway Dance Dimensions offers the opportunity to build lifelong friendships. Our welcoming atmosphere promotes social time for parents as well.

At DuHadway Dance Dimensions we pride ourselves on giving back to our community through our time and talent. Our students perform and volunteer throughout our community. These are always fun family times too!
Jillian DuHadway has been the director of DuHadway Dance Dimensions since 1992. With over 40 years of dance teaching experience, she still loves teaching more than anything. Her dance studio is her happy place.
She enjoys every facet of running DuHadway Dance Dimensions including working closely with her husband and business partner, Mr. Rob.
Rob and Jillian met when they attended Central Michigan University together. He never would have imagined he would own a dance studio, but has enjoyed helping build and sustain their business for the past 35 years.
Mr. Rob wears many hats in the dance studio including maintaining the facility on a daily basis. He is especially proud of both of their children who have gone on to work in the industry teaching, dancing professionally and using their talents to enhance their communities.
Mr. Charlie was born into the dance studio business and fell in love with dance at a very young age. He combines over a dozen years of teaching and professional experiences to help elevate the dancers of DDD.
He started dancing in his mom’s class at the age of 3 and asked for extra classes at age 7. Today he runs our tap and hip hop programs including 3 weekly Tap Club classes for dancers who want additional training.
Charlie has performed all over the country as a member of the professional tap company Tap 24.7 and he has worked for Spotlight Dance Cup as their backstage team lead. His duties at Spotlight have him travelling around the U.S. supporting dancers which also helps keep him on the cutting edge of what is happening with dance from coast to coast.
During the summer months, he is in demand as a guest artist for studios around the midwest. He directs the DDD Boot Camp which is a strength and endurance training program promoting cross training for our dancing athletes.
In his free time, he enjoys hiking and camping. He loves being a dad to his dog Sherman and two kitties Percy and Petra.
Miss Barb has been dancing since age seven. She studied ballet, modern dance, and jazz at Alma College and performed four years as a member of the Alma College Dance Company in student works and set pieces by master choreographers.
Miss Barb has been teaching dance since 1993 and began teaching at DuHadway Dance Dimensions in 1994. Miss Barb’s life is enriched as she shares her love and joy of dance with her students all year round.
Miss Barb graduated from Alma College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education with a Mathematics and Humanities minor. She has recently retired from teaching fourth grade at Alma Public Schools for over 30 years.
In her free time, Miss Barb enjoys traveling and visiting State Parks with her husband, spending time at their cottage up north, and visiting her daughter Laura (DDD alumni 2014) to watch her dance.
Miss Kalie is a lifelong member of Duhadway Dance, beginning in Rhythm 1 with Miss Jillian at just three years old. She began teaching her own Rhythm 1 class during her senior year of high school in 2010 and instantly fell in love with sharing her passion for dance.
She is currently a member of the Elite Artistic Team, choreographing lyrical, contemporary, and jazz routines for dancers of all ages.
Outside of the studio, Kalie works as a Sports Medicine Doctor of Physical Therapy. She loves bringing her expertise in injury prevention and proper exercise form to the dancers, helping them grow safely and confidently.
Miss Latisha dance journey began at a very young age in our Ithaca DuHadway Dance Dimensions Studio with Miss Barb. She trained in ballet, tap, jazz, and pointe. She continued to grow her ballet skills through Cecchetti classes and exams. In high school she became an assistant teacher at the studio and she loved sharing the gift of dance with the younger kids.
After becoming a DDD alumni, she attended Alma College where she earned her degree in elementary education. Miss Latisha joined our teaching staff in 2007 sharing her fun-loving personality and challenging her students to be the best version of themselves.
Miss Latisha has spent nearly a decade teaching kindergarten, but currently she spends her days raising her three young kids at home.
Victoria Gotaas is the youngest daughter of Miss Jennifer Gotaas who started our tumbling program over 10 years ago. Victoria danced with DDD and was a member of the Elite competitive dance team. She is a 2025 graduate of Alma College.
Coach Victoria has been instrumental in building our STUNT the Sport competitive cheer team which we started in summer 2023 and includes U8, U11 and U 14 age groups.
She teaches weekly tumbling and Cheer/Tumble classes following in the footsteps of her amazing mother. She makes room J (in honor of Miss Jennifer) her home away from home when she teaches at DDD.
Miss Kayla was Miss Jennifer’s (Gotaas) first student at DDD. She worked with her privately on power tumbling skills in a side room using a mattress as a mat. This led to the beginning of our tumbling program.
Kayla studied privately with Jenn, assisted and taught with her for over 10 years. She is proud and excited to continue to grow the tumblers here at DDD.
She is a 2017 alumni of DDD and continued her dance training in California at AMDA for several years before returning to Michigan. In addition to her role as our administrative accounts manager, she instructs tumbling and dance classes and contributes choreography to our Elite team. One of her biggest “behind the scenes” administrative roles is running our costume room including ordering and organizing thousands of costume pieces for our dancers.
Miss Aubrey has been part of the DDD family since she started dancing at age 4. She danced competitively as part of the first ever DDD Elite team in 2001 and has continued as an instructor for over 20 years.
She teaches ballet, jazz, contemporary and tap and always brings challenging and relevant education to all of our DDD dancers. In addition to the time she spends enjoying teaching at DDD, she and her husband Caleb run several businesses in Edmore.
Aubrey is also the proud mom to her son Blake. She is a trusted friend and colleague to Rob and Jillian and DDD students are blessed to have her as their teacher.
Miss Rachel, DDD alumni of 2013, is a graduate of Oakland University where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance. In the spring of 2017 she was recognized by Oakland University’s Department of Music Theatre and Dance with the 1017 MaTilKa Award for outstanding dance performance.
Miss Rachel studied abroad in Berlin, Germany while attending OU and she has several years of professional dance experience. She earned an opportunity to perform overseas in Israel and Poland.
Her role as instructor includes working as part of the Elite Artistic Team and contributing choreography and direction for our annual Nutcracker. Miss Rachel is very excited to live in her hometown working with young dancers and using her experiences in the dance world to help educate and shape the next generation.
Miss Maddy, daughter of Miss Jillian and Mr. Rob, grew up dancing all over the house and in her weekly classes. She trained in all forms of dance including taking up to Grade V Cecchetti ballet exams.
She graduated from GVSU with a major in dance and psychology and is currently working as an administrative assistant in the annual giving department at Grand Valley.
Miss Maddy returns to DDD annually to set choreography on the Elite team dancers. She dances professionally in and around the Grand Rapids area.
In her free time, she loves hanging out with friends and her pretty tuxedo kitty Rory.
Miss Melissa came to DDD in 2010 as a high school senior. She joined the Elite competitive team for her senior year.
After graduation she continued teaching dance and for the last 8 years she has been with us here at DDD. In the fall of 2025, Melissa was re certified in Acrobatic Arts and she helps plan the curriculum for our young children’s tumbling classes.
In summer 2025 she completed her Grade V teaching certification in the Cecchetti Method of Ballet. Melissa has worked diligently on continuing her ballet training, working closely with Miss Jillian and Miss Bethany Lenhart CCA Fellow, to achieve the highest marks in Grades I – V.
Miss Melissa and her husband are the proud parents of Lorelei. They live in the Saginaw area.
Miss O’Malley started dancing at DDD at 3 years old. She has always loved dance and trained in all styles including extensive ballet, tap, jazz and contemporary.
She graduated from GVSU with a major in dance and is currently working as a personnel manager at a technology company in Grand Rapids.
Miss O’Malley returns to DDD annually to set choreography on the Elite team dancers. She dances professionally in and around the Grand Rapids area.
Miss Katy has been dancing with DuHadway Dance Dimensions since she was five years old. It has truly become her life. She teaches ballet, jazz, hip hop and contemporary classes Monday through Thursday. Katy recently trained to become certified in the Cecchetti Method of Classical Ballet. While continuing her own dance education with her Cecchetti training, she loves passing the method along to her students during our summer intensive to prepare for their own exams.
Miss Katy was a member of the DDD Elite team for 10 years and currently contributes as part of the Elite Artistic Team, choreographing for dancers of all levels. In addition to teaching, she also serves as a member of our office admin as Enrollment Specialist. She oversees registration and class placements for both new and returning students, working closely with our studio director, Miss Jillian.

Miss Carmin started dancing with DDD and trained up to dancing competitively with the DDD Elite team. She was and is a teacher assistant as well as leading many of our mini session dance classes year after year.
She is currently pursuing her teaching certificate in special education which has been a guiding light in her life since she was in high school.
