Our goal is to provide a fun yet educational experience. Students will learn the disciplined art of dance and movement in a structured classroom setting. Placement in our studio ensures a professional approach to teaching combined with a genuine love and appreciation of the art of dance. Initially, students are placed in classes based on age. Placement based on ability will be determined by the studio and changes will be made if necessary. We strive to educate our students mentally as well as physically with the goal of building self esteem and confidence.
Smaller Class Sizes - Our smaller class sizes allow students to get more individual instruction from teachers, and as a result progress at a faster level than in a large class environment. Our smaller class sizes also ensure that the teacher can catch any problems before they turn into bad habits or improper techniques.
Variety of Dance Styles - Highly qualified teachers with varied training and teaching methods are available to teach a broad range of dance formats.
Our Dance Studio Advantage - Our studios are newly renovated and well maintained. Our studio flooring is also first rate. A vinyl composite "marley" floor is accepted worldwide as the best surface layer for recreational to professional dance. A marley floor allows dancers to slide, with a degree of .controlled slip, but is not slippery so there is less risk of slips and falls. Very few studios use professional marley floors because of the expense involved, and usually opt for a regular floor tile for a studio floor.
Rhythm Development for Ages 3 to 5 - From the age of 3, children are given a fun introduction to the basics of dance. This program provides a solid foundation for future success in Ballet, Jazz, Tap and other styles.
Recitals, Exams, and Competitions - Students are given performance experience in our year-end recital. Students also have the option to participate in festivals, competitions and exams.
